Walking With Moses in CDG

When we blend our own hearts of faith and affection for God with the powerful stories of our great God of the Old Testament, and the testimony of the character and acts of Jesus, the Word of God will go forth with power and conviction. Little children can see and know the greatness of God. By showing children the heart of God through Old and New Testament stories, we have the privilege of being part of God’s work in their hearts to set their hope in Him.” – CDG Website
Welcome back to our Wednesday night program, Children Desiring God. We will be studying God’s Word together, beginning with His deliverance of the Hebrew slaves in Egypt through the intermediary Moses, a picture of Christ. Our study in the four- and five-year-old class is entitled He Established a Testimony, and our goal is to build categories in your child’s mind that will allow him to grow up to think biblically, categories such as sin, repentance, deliverance and redemption. This is what God is concerned with in His word. This is the story He has chosen to tell to show us who He is and what He has done. We will work our way chronologically through the Bible, picking up with Moses in Exodus and ending in II Kings. I hope you will find this site a useful resource to check on Badge Requirements, Verse Jingles and Worship Songs, all of which can be accessed by clicking on the links to the right of this post. I look forward to serving you and your family. Blessings!
